On Thursday, October 31, 2019, at approximately 12:30 p.m., a male student living off campus in Belmont was walking on 187th street and Crescent Avenue when he was approached by a male wearing a red hoodie. The male said to the student “It's Halloween, how are we going to do this? Do you want to get egged or mugged?" The student replied “egged,” and his assailant began hitting him with eggs. Two other males then threw the student to the ground, ..., and took the student's phone. All three assailants then fled toward 187th street and Arthur Avenue.
